Tropics® is a fully integrated, multi-state, and multi-carrier Workers Compensation software system. It is perfect for any self-insured group, insurance company, MGA, or other workers' comp administrators. Tropics® offers integrated software modules in policy, claims, and financial administration to cover the complete workers' compensation business cycle. The system is developed in a multi-tier Microsoft Windows® 32 bit and Oracle® environment.
Tropics® also provides Web-enabled modules referred to as WebTropics. These modules provide access to the system from agency and insured offices to look-up and verify information, run reports, and to submit applications and receive quotes in real time over the World Wide Web. Agents can order and receive a binder based on customized rules and authority set up by the insurance company. Other eCommerce modules such as self-audits and pass-through processing through XML are under construction.
